33 Years – Celebrating Trust, Rich Heritage, and a Vision for the Future
Moto-Pfohe Group – the official representative of Ford, Volvo, Jaguar & Land Rover for Bulgaria – celebrated its longevity and resilience on November 27, 2024. 33 years of earned trust, well-deserved success, and adaptability to trends and customers are hallmarks of the strength and stability of one of the leaders in the Bulgarian automotive industry.
This year, Moto-Pfohe celebrates a significant milestone, marking 33 years of leadership in Bulgaria's automotive industry, alongside a record-breaking 2024. The anniversary event, held at the luxurious Jaguar Land Rover showroom, brought together over 150 leaders, partners, and high-ranking industry officials. The hosts were Atanas Furnadzhiev and Satoshi Isogai (Managing Directors, Moto-Pfohe Group), Dimo Nikolov (Consultant, Sumitomo Corporation), and Shinsuke Fujimoto (General Manager, Automotive Division, Sumitomo Europe), who offered their heartfelt thanks and well wishes.
Moto-Pfohe’s CEO, Atanas Furnadzhiev, highlighted trust as the foundation of the company's success, providing a solid base for further innovation, customer satisfaction, and a motivated team. Mr. Fujimoto praised Moto-Pfohe’s contribution to Sumitomo Corporation since 2017, emphasizing shared values such as commitment to society. Reflecting on recent successes, Isogai-san, who joined the leadership team in 2023, outlined the company's development through the expansion of the "360 - Mobility as a Service" model, which covers everything modern mobility requires – from representing global brands to rentals and servicing. He also noted the cultural significance of the number 33 in both Bulgarian and Japanese traditions, symbolizing prosperity and balance.
Moto-Pfohe’s path toward sustainable development is equally visionary and impressive, setting a new standard for the automotive industry in Bulgaria. Mr. Furnadzhiev announced that the company has fully completed a solar project initiated three years ago across six branches nationwide and in Sofia, which will provide 100% of its electricity from its own sources in 2025 and achieve net-zero carbon emissions from electricity.
To strengthen its commitment to innovation, Moto-Pfohe plans to expand its electrified fleet and introduce new smart mobility solutions to enhance customer convenience and promote sustainability. These initiatives underscore the vision for a modern and sustainable automotive future.
The anniversary event concluded with a spectacular fire and light show, symbolizing the bright future ahead. Guests included representatives from the British and Swedish embassies, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, AmCham, and key corporate partners.
Moto-Pfohe’s 33rd anniversary marks a legacy of achievement and a bold vision to continue growth, innovation, and sustainability.
