On May 9, Europe Day, Moto-Pfohe launched the delivery of 160 Defender units for the needs of the Border Police. At a special ceremony, the Director of the Border Police and the Minister of Interior received the first 40 vehicles. This delivery is part of a large-scale project co-financed by the European Union, aimed at improving border management and visa policy for the 2021–2027 period.

In 2009, Moto-Pfohe delivered 190 Defender units. Now, 13 years later, the Border Police will rely on the new generation of this iconic off-roader.

Moto-Pfohe mobilized its efforts to deliver the vehicles in record time under current automotive market conditions, once again reinforcing JLR's commitment to the Border Police and law enforcement agencies, with whom the company has collaborated numerous times over the years. With this, Moto-Pfohe proves its corporate responsibility and social duty once again, ensuring European security as part of the Union's priorities.

Since 1948, the Defender has been a symbol of toughness and power, epitomizing exceptional reliability and serving as the logical choice for expeditions in the world's most inaccessible places. The new generation Defender is equipped with a specialized high-tech all-terrain system – Terrain Response, a wading depth sensor, four-wheel drive, a twin-speed transfer box, Hill Descent Control, Low Traction Launch, and many more features.

The Defender is the ideal choice for actions and operations in harsh conditions, as well as for reliable enhanced protection of the country's borders.

The off-roader is designed and tested to the extreme, far beyond the standard for SUV models. The toughest Defender yet meets even the most stringent requirements, with towing capacity and a wading depth of up to 900 mm. Top-tier engineering deservedly won it the "World Car Design of the Year" award at the annual World Car Awards. Its characteristic silhouette makes it instantly recognizable everywhere, remaining true to the pioneering spirit that has defined Land Rover for over 76 years, setting the standard for 4x4s.

Iconic in name, shape, and capability, the Defender is the toughest and most versatile model in the British brand's lineup, embodying legendary off-road capabilities, reliability, and ease of maintenance. It is a product of controlled evolution – a powerful combination of Land Rover's experience, proven engineering and technological capabilities, and innovation. That is why it is the most sought-after model for extreme expeditions and challenging terrains worldwide.

And the fact that nearly 60% of the first Defender vehicles produced (in 1948) are still on the road proves the model's unyielding spirit and its limitless possibilities.

With this important project, Moto-Pfohe not only confirms its commitment to the security and protection of the country's borders but also consolidates its position as a reliable contractor for the delivery of specialized vehicles and equipment for security forces.
